What the free audit is, what a report is and is not, and what a separate agreement covers.
Your use of rakasec.com, the free audit of up to five devices, and the support portal. Purchasing or running the Rakasec appliance is governed by a separate written agreement.
A Rakasec report is the output of automated analysis of the information you supplied. It is evidence to act on, not a certification, and it is not a penetration test, a compliance audit or professional security advice. Recommended changes are proposals that require human review before anyone applies them to a live device. You remain responsible for changes made to your own network.
The information you supply cannot show everything. Where something cannot be determined from it, the report says so rather than guessing. Results on one network are not a prediction about another.
The site, the engine, the check content and the report format are Rakasec's. A report we produce for you is yours to use inside your organisation, including with your auditors. Nothing here transfers rights in the engine or its checks.
Warranty disclaimers, liability caps, indemnities, governing law and jurisdiction are not stated on this page. They belong in a document a lawyer has reviewed against the company's actual legal entity, and inventing them here would be worse than leaving them out. If you need contractual terms before a pilot, ask and we will provide them.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be dated here.
