This is a current description, not a final agreement. It says what the site and the free audit actually do today. Some questions that belong to a lawyer or to the company record are not answered here, and are deliberately left unstated rather than guessed at. If you need a contractual answer before a pilot, ask us and we will get you one.

Who we are

Rakasec builds network security software that runs in the customer's own environment. This notice covers rakasec.com and the free audit. It does not cover the appliance itself: once that is running in your estate, your configurations, findings and reports stay on it, and we have no access to them.

What this website collects

The contact form. Name, work e-mail, the topic you choose, your company where a form asks for it, and your message if you write one (if you leave it blank, we record a short line naming the topic instead), plus the IP address the submission came from. The IP is recorded to make abuse of the form traceable.
Nothing else. There is no analytics script, no advertising pixel and no cross-site tracker on this site. We set no cookies for visitors who do not use the support portal.

Submissions are stored in a database operated by our website and database hosting provider. Two e-mails may follow a submission: a notification to us, and an automatic acknowledgement to you.

Who processes it

Website and database hosting provider	Hosts the site, serves every request, and holds the contact-form database. Also provides the identity check on the support portal.
E-mail delivery provider	Sends the automatic acknowledgement to whoever submits the form.

These are the only third parties the site sends personal data to. Neither receives your network configurations.

The free audit

The free audit is the one place we handle your configurations, and it is deliberately narrow. You send sanitised running-configs, we return the report, and the configurations are deleted after delivery. An NDA is available before you send anything. Do not send configurations or credentials through the contact form: it arrives as e-mail. We reply with a secure channel.

How long we keep it

Configurations sent for a free audit are deleted after the report is delivered. For contact-form submissions we do not state a retention period here, because we would rather name one we enforce than one we intend. Ask us to delete yours at any time and we will.

Your rights

Write to hello@rakasec.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, and we will action it.

We have not set out a lawful basis, a controller entity and address, or a response-time commitment on this page. Those are matters for counsel and the company record, and stating them before they are settled would be worse than leaving them out. Ask if you need them confirmed for a procurement review.

Security

An NDA is available on request before you share any information with us or discuss technical details.

Changes

If this notice changes materially we will date the change here rather than revise it silently.
